<h2>What is carbon steel WNRF flange?</h2>



<p>WNRF flange full name called welding neck flange. It is produced with forged process. It can be divided many types according to different standards, materials, and sizes. Due to the transition structure of the cone neck and the butt welding connection, the strength and rigidity of the flange are strengthened, and the sealing performance is better than that of the slip on flange and plate flange. <h2>About the sealing surface “RF”:</h2>



<p>“RF” is the short name of raised face a kind of sealing face of flanges. The sealing surface of the flange is flat, and the gasket contact area is large. After pretightening, the gasket is easy to extend or move to both sides, and the sealing property is poor, which is only suitable for low-pressure occasions. Except for RF there are other types of sealing faces such as FM(female and male), RJ (ring joint) and TG(tongue and groove) which have better performance in sealing property can be used for high pressure occasions.</p>

<p>Carbon steel WNRF flange can be produced according to many kinds of standards including Chinese standard, ASME B16.5 / B16.47, DIN2630/2631/2632/2633/2634/2635/2636/2637, JIS B2220, GOST12821, and EN1092. ASME standard is the most popular flange that adopted worldly.</p>
