<p>Carbon steel elbow is a kind of pipe fittings which can change the direction of pipeline. <p>Carbon steel elbows are resistant to weak erosion media such as air, steam and water and chemical erosion media such as acid, alkali and salt. Also known as stainless acid-resistant steel. <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Carbon steel LR 90 degree elbow</strong><strong></strong></h2>



<p>LR means long radius R=1.5D, D is the short name of dimension of elbow. Long radius elbow is usually applied to connect two pipes or tubes, which can help to change the direction of fluid in the pipeline. The long radius 90 degree elbow is the most commonly used pipe fitting in the pipeline with high temperature and high flow rate.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Carbon steel SR 90 degree elbow</strong><strong></strong></h2>



<p>SR means short radius R=1D which also means the diameter and radius of 90 degree elbow is equivalent. Short radius elbow usually the low pressure pipeline or the places are confined when installed. However, the long radius elbow is preferred if there are no confined conditions or not specified in the contract.</p>
